Our New Yarns Have Arrived!

Our new yarns have arrived and we are thrilled with their fineness and luster! Each we feel our yarn is getting better and better. With finer babies being born each year, this translates into alpacas that are giving us finer yarn. Our products are therefore soft, lustrous and feel soft next to the skin. This year we are even using our 2nds (the slightly coarser part of the alpaca) for our outer wear garments. This fiber is just too nice not to use. Imagine wearing a warm alpaca zip up jacket! No heavy coat needed on those 40 degree days! Just a warm alpaca knitted jacket and your good to go. Add a great alpaca hat and some mittens and you’ll be not only warm, but stylish as well. Don’t see something that fits the bill on our products page, call us and we’ll design something just for you! Our custom work is extremely reasonable when you think that these garments are made of the finest fiber and custom designed one of a kind garments.

Alpaca Farm Days – September 29th & 30th

Join us on September 29th & 30th for a fun filled day in the country. Our barn doors will be open to the community for a great time hanging out with the alpacas. There’ll be lots to see and do. From fiber demos to shopping in our display boutique, you’ll see how our fleeces get turned into beautiful alpaca products. Odelia will have custom made signature alpaca wear available to start off your holiday shopping with something really special for that someone special!

Kaskaskia Brewing Company will be here again for you to sample their great craft beers, while munching on delicious treats. Come and enjoy the fall weather, the animals and the company. Bring the family or a friend. It’s a great time for all!

We’re happy to say that we’re back from Italy and had a great trip! Our sweaters seemed to love Italy too. Here’s one of our favorites! This sweater is perfect for lounging around the castle! This year Odelia will be in Louisville, Kentucky for the AOBA National Alpaca show, which will be held the last weekend in May. If you are attending the show, stop by and say hello.
